Its notpron !

June 6, 2007
I came across this really interesting online puzzle . Its called notpron. This puzzle ain’t a point-and-click puzzle and you’ll have to use you brain, sometimes literally. Go ahead, play it. But make sure that you don’t cheat or look for spoilers. That’d make you regret having done so .

Also, make sure that you have time to waste and an internet connection to spare. Its just HTML. So don’t bother.

Cheerio!

Thats my guitar 😀
I have been fascinated by a guitar ever since I got into rock. Also, a guitar complements my singing 😉 . I just bought it 5 days ago and am happy with the progress I’m making.. I’m learning on my own. And I’m loving every second of the practice schedule.

The site I’m learning from is guitar.about.com . I’ve thus far learnt these :

  • Nine open chords
  • The E phrygian Scale
  • The Blues Scale
  • Few strumming patterns
  • The Notes on the Fret
Well, I’m still struggling with the quick switching between chords. Some help would be appreciated .

I’m planning to accomplish these in the coming days:

  • Learn Power and Barre chords
  • Master F-chord and be able to play all nine basic chords at will
  • Be able to switch chords gracefully
  • Be able to memorise and play notes on the fretboard at will
  • Be able to play some basic songs with basic strumming pattern
Thats all folks.

I’ll be blending again…

April 28, 2007
I had left 3D quite some time ago, due to lack of time and patience. Now I have come of age ( yeah right, I lie with a straight face) and am far more calm(:D) and stable.
So, I decide to take the plunge into 3D later this MAY ’07. And the software I’ll be using is (no prizes for guessing though) Blender! Yeah baby. And coupled with GIMP, there might be few astonishing results too. I’ll keep you posted.

Blender is quite a powerful tool, but it takes time to fit in your work flow, if you are using it for commercial purposes(which it is used for BTW). But once you get a hang of it, its a complete 3D animation and rendering suite! But its inbuilt renderer isn’t a heavy-weight, so you might want to try Indigo . Though you can also use POVray or YAFray, but nothing beats Indigo.

So, blender, I’ll be coming for you baby! Watch out!

My checklist May 2007

These are the things I plan to research and delve deep into ,fall MAY:

  • Blender
  • Network Hacking
  • Digital Matte painting
  • GIMP
  • Blogging
  • Digital Music
  • Tech Forums
  • Linux
  • Open Source Programming
  • Javascript/HTML
  • JAVA

Note: The lists isn’t in the order of preference.
